I am Suzanne Gattrell Hodshon,
I am a mama, artist, earth + home lover....
..and for over a decade I have been working with pure wool, creating textural designs to help people cosy up their homes all over the world.
I love to weave and will do so anywhere given a loom and some beautiful yarn!
I first discovered Merino Wool in 2007 whist living in Australia and instantly fell in love with its amazing qualities. After the birth of my first child in 2009 I developed my passion into a home run business. In 2012 I returned to the UK where I live with my family just outside of Bath.
I continued to grow my business and in 2017, I began teaching weaving. Having loved running environmental conservation workshops in my previous career with the World Wide Fund for Nature it was now time to make them creativity focused for personal well being.
I love working and teaching from our home in the English countryside surrounded by fields and woodland - hence Nest & Burrow!
As well as from our home I have also taught at the luscious Pilea Plant Shop in Frome and beautiful Fforest near Cardigan.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and checking out my work. I hope I can welcome you soon to enjoy some creative time out or help you with that perfect piece for your home to cosy up your world.
